The New Horizon Programme offers innovative approaches to “self-management” adapted from recent developments in psychology enabling the shaping of new habits in personal behaviours, motivation and mental attitudes.

New Horizon is made available throughout the rehabilitation experience (in and out of custody).  The key focus is on replacing habitual re-offending behaviours with self-driven and pro-active strategies for addressing personal perspectives, attitude, education, training or employment needs, the acquisition of appropriate housing and the shaping of positive personal relationships.

These self-driven change strategies are documented using a Pro Active Change Template (PACT) which defines the specific and personal attitude and behaviour changes desired and needed and the support that will best enable such change.
