Welcome to the New Horizon website

We welcome each opportunity to apply our ground-breaking programme for the benefit of those at greatest risk and those of significant disadvantage within our society. Our specific aim this year is to introduce the New Horizon Programme into as many custodial facilities as possible so that the time available to any offender whilst in custody is maximised in pursuit of minimising the likelihood of reoffending.
RADICALLY REDUCING REOFFENDING
(Short Term Offenders - Young & Adult)

PARTICIPANT OWNERSHIP
(Pro Active Change Template)

EMBRACING PAYMENT BY RESULTS
(Measurable Impact on Recidivism)
RELEASING NATURAL POTENTIAL
(Non-Judgmentally Changing Perspectives)

INTEGRATED REHABILITATION SUPPORT
(Individual Through-The-Gate Journey)

INSPIRING SUSTAINABLE CHANGE
(Addressing Root Causes Not Just Symptoms)

Our innovative programme has been created to positively impact upon the future landscape of our society. In times of economic uncertainty our society must face the challenges that lie at the root cause of anti-social behaviours and rising crime figures:

- Punishment Versus Rehabilitation
- Containment Versus Educate, Employ & Inspire Change
- Short Term Cost Saving Versus Long Term Strategy
- Isolation Versus Housing & Work Support in the Community
- Blame Versus Neutrality & Collaboration

These are fundamental challenges that need to be successfully addressed RIGHT NOW!

"We are all blessed with unlimited potential"

"Our individual perspective on ourselves and the world around us dictates our attitudes and behaviours"

"Just because we have rarely experienced unconditional love and our past is littered with negative judgments from others, the opportunity to change our lives for the better is ever present"

"If we are truly committed to rehabilitation then we must address the root causes of offending behaviour, which all starts with each individuals concept of self"
